Update From Climate Realists On Lord Christopher Monckton’s visit To New Zealand

Hello Climate Realists,
First of all, a huge THANK YOU to all the many of you who responded to our call for help with  Lord Christopher Monckton’s visit.
We were absolutely overwhelmed with emails offering of all kinds of support.
I have attempted to reply to everyone as the emails poured in but please forgive my lack of contact since. We have been very busy sorting an itinerary for Lord Monckton’s visit and there are a few details still to finalise.
It is solely due to the support pledged by the members of this network, that we have had the confidence to go ahead and confirm Lord Monckton’s visit to NZ. Thank you all VERY much!!!
Climate Realists, in association with the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition, has taken on the responsibility of bringing Lord Monckton to NZ.
One of our members, Pauline Rose from Dargaville is the main event facilitator.
We have set up an organising committee that consists of Neil and myself, Pauline, Terry Dunleavy of the NZCSC, Roger Gower of the Newmarket Rotary and Greg Moon, who initiated the whole thing.
The basic plan is as follows:
Thursday 4th August   Lord Monckton will commence his official NZ visit with an appearance on Leighton Smith’s NewstalkZB show in the morning.
This will be followed by a private business lunch.
A 5.30pm he will speak at a public event in central Auckland, organised by the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand. This will be open to both members and non-members of PRINZ.

Friday 5th August will find him in Wellington at a Parliamentary Press conference in the morning. There will be a public event at lunchtime in Welington, also organised by PRINZ. As in Auckland, this will be open to both members and non-members of PRINZ.
On Saturday and Sunday Lord Monckton will be in Auckland and Whangarei, before flying back to Australia on Monday.
Please keep an eye on our webste, www.climaterealists.org.nz where all itinerary details- times, venues, costs- will be published as soon as they are finalised.
We urgently need all those of you who have pledged financial support to now go to our website http://www.climaterealists.org.nz/node/827 and deposit your donations into the Climate Realists ‘Monckton’ account.
All money donated will be used as follows:
**To pay for Lord Monckton’s flights to and from NZ
**To pay for Lord Monckton’s flights within NZ
**To pay for Pauline Rose’s flights to and from Wellington where, as the main event facilitator, she accompanies Lord Monckton and ensures the smooth passage of all events.
**To pay accomodation costs in Wellington.
NB The Auckland and Whangarei accomodation costs have already been covered by donors.
**As Lord Monckton has especially rearranged his flights within Australia we will reimburse him for the costs incurred in making those changes.
**Lord Monckton has volunteered his time freely, asking only that his expenses be covered. We are very grateful to him for making this trip to NZ on such short notice and would like to give him a goodwill donation of any money left over in the kitty after all expenses are paid.
Thank you all once again for your support.
