Big Aerosol Spray Day In Palmerston North On April 19, 2013

From Danielle, Palmerston North.   April 20th, 2013.

Palmerston North has been host to many strange trails in the sky of late. These photos were taken on Friday, April the 19th, from midday to early evening.  There was a steady progression in the sky from blue to a complete white out, then rain.
The distinct trail pictured went from one horizon to the other (Nth to Sth) and slowly spread out. They were not clouds, because I watched them progress from the trails to all a range of unnatural shapes. I had to retreat indoors eventually, as standing outside
left me coughing and spluttering from whatever it was that was being blatantly dumped on us.
