Fumes in cabin delay Air NZ flight

MSN May 30, 2013.

Passengers on a scheduled Air New Zealand flight from Christchurch were offered medical help after fumes leaked into the plane’s cabin.

The 6.50am flight to Auckland was delayed for more than three hours after fumes believed to be from a de-icing spray leaked into the cabin.

“Awesome work NOT,” passenger Stuart Reilly said in one tweet.

“More than happy for them to spray, just not for it to get in the plane,” he said in a follow-up.
