Protest In Whangarei Against Chemtrails/Geoengineering on Jan 25, 2014

A protest was held in Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand against chemtrails/ geoengineering on Saturday, January the 25th, 2014, as part of a global protest on the same date.

We erected banners and signs opposite the busy Farmers’ Market on Water Street at about 8.15am, and handed out flyers.  We spoke to members of the public regarding this technology and its dangers, amongst other things.   Then at approximately 10.10am we picked up the banners, signs and I picked up a 45 Watt bullhorn and we marched up Bank St, onto  Dent St, then Walton St and Cameron St chanting: “Stop spraying our skies, stop telling us lies,” along much of the way.

At Cameron Street Mall the bullhorn had to be put down owing to Council regulations unfortunately.  However,  we set up a table, banners and posters and handed out DVD copies of ‘Why in the World Are they Spraying?’ and flyers regarding chemtrails/geoengineering from about 10.45am-midday.

Of all the environmental issues, this is probably the most important one to wake people up to and the most difficult and as usual, there was a wide range of reactions to what we had to say. Some people were very concerned and genuinely interested to learn more, while some were highly skeptical and had difficulty believing it could be occurring.  No doubt we planted plenty of seeds in people’s minds which will lead them to investigate this issue in future.

Finally, well done and a big thank-you to all those of you who got involved, in particular a mammoth thank-you to Toni Anne Smith, Daryl Smith, Jim Reece, Tony Smith, Matthew Miller, Vanessa McCormick and the children who helped to make this protest a special one.
