Criss-Cross Aerosol Trails Expand Across Hokitika Sky on July 11, 2016

These photos, taken by a concerned resident of Hokitika, which is a township in the West Coast region of New Zealand’s South Island, 40 kilometres south of Greymouth, show large aerosol trails intersecting and dispersing over a one-and-a-half-hour period.

The striking shots, shown in the order they were taken, were snapped between 11am-12.30pm on Monday, the 11th of July from Hokitika, then sent to the Greymouth Star yesterday in an email bearing the question: Whatever happened to our clear blue winter skies?”

Thank-you to MB for helping to expose this crime against the environment and humanity.  We’ll let you know if the paper publishes them. Hokitilka sky 11 July 2016 1Hokitika sky 11 July 2016 2Hokitika sky 11 July 2016 6Hokitika sky 11 July 2016 8
