Hamilton’s Anti-Chemtrail/ Geo-engineering Protest Made Impact In Pouring Rain

Hamilton Chemtrail Awareness Day was held today  (Sunday 21st October), despite being in the middle of a long weekend and in the torrential rain.
Fourteen cold, wet souls braved the weather and came out to join us. There were only three of us at the beginning but numbers swelled as the day drew on.  We stood at four different intersections around the city for half-hour stints, holding banners and placards, and wearing an assortment of medical, safety and paintball masks for added effect! Cars tooted and waved, we assume in approval and support!

A huge thank you goes to Vinny Eastwood, who gave up a well-earned day of rest to travel down from Auckland to film it and to put his megaphone to good use.  It will be up on YouTube sometime soon, so look out for it (it will also feature a guest appearance from one of our local fine upstanding police officers – but that is another story!).
Huge thanks also go to the guys who travelled all the way from Te Kuiti and Te Aroha to stand with us and support us.
I feel we made an impact at the time – I’m sure we looked a sight standing there in the pouring rain and so we probably attracted more attention than if it was fine! But I am sure the greatest impact from this type of protest is not how many turn up or how many cars toot at the time – it is the thousands of viewers that the video will reach later on, using the power of social media. This is how we can get our message out there!
